Uhuru and Jubilee party have accused Deputy President Ruto of holding town hall meetings to discuss “bottom up” economic agenda.
Ruto and his UDA brigade have been holding meetings at Karen in the past two months to help formulate bottom up economic agenda.
On May 20, the ruling party released a statement that slammed the DP’s economic proposals, saying they lack an agenda for Kenya. This comes after Jubilee leaders attacked them on TV, and highlighted their “strange” economic models.
The party questioned William Ruto why he was campaigning and claiming to have an economic model only to start having the Karen meetings.
In previous political rallies, William Ruto and his allies have said that through an executive order, President Uhuru Kenyatta stripped him of his duties as DP and handled the role to Matiangi.
It is being said that Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has been elevated to an equivalent Prime Minister-like position.
